- What do you want students to take away from your classes? - I want students to become familiar with STEM teaching and develop the mindset of being a lifelong STEM learner AND educator. My hope is that students will take away a greater appreciation for the goals of STEM education and the confidence of implementing those goals in their own classroom. 
- How long have you been teaching online courses? - I have been teaching online courses since fall 2018. 
- Why did you start teaching? - I started teaching out of deep admiration for the profession and because I wanted to replicate the positive relationships I had with my teachers with future students. 
- What is the value of a master's degree in education? - Teaching is a recursive practice in an ever-changing field. Like their students, teachers must always strive to learn and improve their craft. Therefore, I believe that any level of advanced learning or degrees in education is invaluable for a teacher to reach their full potential. 
- What advice would you give to those considering an online MSEd program? - I would advise students to answer and reflect on two essential questions: What are three personal or professional goals associated with earning an MSEd degree? How will an online MSEd program help you achieve each of those goals? 
- What is the one book you think everyone should read? - Mindset: The New Psychology of Success by Carol S. Dweck. 
- Tell us something interesting about yourself that your students might not know. - My husband and I recently moved from North Carolina. Fun fact: We have watched all 30 MLB teams play in their home fields!
