What do you want students to take away from your classes?

Students in this program will examine the U.S. healthcare system, which is constantly in flux. They will learn about key stakeholders — regulators, payers, providers, consumers, suppliers, and current legislative and policy issues impacting healthcare systems and health outcomes of individuals.

What is the value of an MBA degree?

Having an MBA (Healthcare Admin Concentration) is important for students who wish to pursue executive leadership roles in healthcare institutions.

What advice would you give to those considering an MBA at SOU?

Be prepared to expand your perspectives on health, healthcare, and health outcomes in the U.S. More importantly, be prepared to increase your healthcare literacy and by extension, share the information learned with co-workers, family and friends – because health and healthcare systems impact all of us!
