  • Career Highlights:

    Dr. Ding enjoys doing research and has published several articles in peer-reviewed academic journals in both English and Chinese.

    Research Project: LPCE (Lemann Program on Creativity and Entrepreneurship) Accelerator member, team lead, 3D Global Virtual Classroom.

    Harvard University, $1,000 award. 2020-2021. Description: Lead a research team: Hui founded 3D Virtual Classroom, an online software to make online courses more interesting and more interactive.

      My teaching philosophy is to enjoy learning and foster interactive and active learning in the classroom. I want my students to learn the knowledge they need and apply it to their work and life.

    • How long have you been teaching online courses?

      Ten years

    • Why did you start teaching?

      I have a passion to teach. I believe education matters. Education can change a person's life. My happiest moments are when I see my students being successful.

    • What is the value of a higher degree in the field in which you teach?

      I teach finance and business courses. The value of a finance degree is to help students understand the concepts of finance and apply them to their work and life. The value of an MBA is to emphasize managerial skills, strategic thinking and human resource skills to prepare them for real-world job responsibilities.

    • ​What advice would you give to those considering your online program?

      Set a schedule for completing and reviewing assignments to ensure you submit all your assignments on time.

    • Tell us something interesting about yourself that your students might not know.

      I enjoy public speaking. I won first place in the Humorist Speech Contest Club Level, Toastmasters International, 2019.
